The always amiable Allison opened her doors to designers, actors, and oh so many models.

On Wednesday, Allison Sarofim and Domino editor-in-chief Deborah Needleman invited their closest glitterati, literati—well, all the ati’s—friends to a private house party in celebration of Domino’s new fashion issue. We walked in on the American Sweetheart-heels of Amanda Peet, surrounded by effortless cool.

Second gens like Rashida Jones and Lauren Bush sat around sipping winetails, discussing runway shows. While waiters strolled the periphery of the welcoming apartment (doling out cigarettes and cocktails—don’t mind if we do!), New Yorker’s Malcolm Gladwell chatted up Marc Ecko. Colorful and casual designer Chris Benz lounged on a chaise.

Socialite Ann Dexter-Jones worked the room, while designer Erin Fetherston became a magnetic force that everyone in tapered denim gravitated towards. Everyone talked fashion, but ultimately the basement became the destination for tennis lovers wanting to check out the Federer/Roddick match (or maybe just Federer and Roddick).

Sarofim, once again, hosted an event that mixed high class with downtown charm. Oh, and we’re so sorry for smoking all your cigarettes! —Nick Haramis
