One of L.A.'s hottest makeup artists, Carol Shaw��������who has worked with Jodie Foster, Annette Bening, and Nicole Kidman (and who founded LORAC Cosmetics)��������just introduced a new palette of eye shadows and blush. It comes in a swanky, shiny-black case with sequins. Oh my! Why should we care? Three words, two of them polysyllabic: �������power of celebrity.������� Shaw created the Showstopper exclusively for Sephora, with the stylist team of Estee Stanley and Christina Ehrlich. This high-powered team might not be as big as Rachel Zoe, but they also don't leave the house wearing gowns, 20 necklaces, and sunglasses as large as breadboxes, either. They do, however, dress Jessica Biel, Penelope Cruz, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen��������and Stanley actually decorates houses on the side, including the residence of those adorable little Goth Hobbits.
