Has the manbag/murse finally broken into the mainstream? It was quite a presence on the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2011 Menswear runway. I’ve also seen men toting them around. If anyone can make this style popular, it’s Louis Vuitton. With the whole metrosexual explosion of the past few years, this trend may slowly be catching on. Men have been historically discouraged from having manbags—but is that really fair? I mean, guys have to carry stuff around too, right? Why do ladies get to have the convenience of a purse while men have to suffer with overstuffing their pockets?
Oh, that’s right—because if guys carry handbags too, then who’s going to hold our purses? In that case, keep stuffing your pockets, guys. Thanks!
