Back in June, when news of Sea of Shoes' teenage blogger Jane Aldridge's footwear collaboration with Urban Outfitters hit fashion's blog wire, it was a big deal -- arguably one of the first where a major retailer employed a fashion blogger to design a collection (although Susie Bubble of Stylebubble did this across the pond prior to Aldridge's deal). The first collection soon debuted, with three on-trend styles: a toeless boot, a laced flat, and a studded platform. Now, comes Sea of Shoes' second installment, just in time for fall.

Aldridge's latest footwear creations (all of which are online now) are even more trend-driven than this summer's styles. There's a tall black buckle boot (a toned-down version of what the likes of Chloë Sevigny and Balmain are serving up for FW09); a two-toned lace-up wedge (seen everywhere from Acne and Proenza Schouler to Topshop) and a bow heel in black or pink that calls to mind a wedge that Opening Ceremony is hawking this season. With Aldridge's growing reputation having already landed her in the pages of Vogue, not to mention modeling for look books, it will be very interesting to watch what the high schooler does with all of the buzz.
