Forever 21 has a lot going on these days. The discount retailer is introducing its very own magazine this month, and now the controversial beacon of designer knock-offs will be setting foot into the world of cosmetics and beauty products for the first time. "Forever 21 has begun with a wide-ranging assortment that covers lips, eyes, face, nails, fragrance and tools and accessories such as cosmetic bags, tweezers and makeup brushes," says Women's Wear Daily. And in true F21 fashion, none of the items will retail for "more than $10.

Also hitting Forever 21's racks soon: Boutique -- a new line that altogether doesn't look especially distinctive from the styles Forever 21 has been hawking for seasons, although that's not to say the graphic tights and embellished tanks and minidress are anything to scoff at. What is of note, however, is the face of the line: Tennessee Thomas (a.k.a. drummer for Los Angeles girl band The Like). Formerly linked to Mark Ronson, Thomas is definitely a smart move in terms of marketing appeal. She speaks directly to the Lula-reading, circa-70s-Stevie-Nicks-channeling set.
