The struggling economy has proven no obstacle for Kate Moss’ Christmas collection for Topshop, which hit the Brit retailer’s racks just this morning. In the first hour of sales, two of the dresses included in the collection -- both of which Moss had sported out in public prior to the collection’s launch -- are long gone (“the claw print dress she wore to the Vivienne Westwood S/S ’09 show during London Fashion Week ... plus 180 of the knitted mini dresses with metallic triangle Kate also wore out last month,” reports Grazia).

Considering nearly every other look from the collection is still in stock (at least for now), the sellout of the two dresses Moss was previously seen wearing proves the model-turned-fashion designer’s immense selling power. In other words, don’t be surprised if over the course of the next few weeks, paparazzi shots of Moss sporting the Starsky leather jacket and Spotted Print dress (pictured) surface, thus causing similar buying frenzies.
