Add Liam Gallagher to the list of musicians moonlighting as clothing designers -- a roster that already includes Justin Timberlake, one of three faces behind the line William Rast, and U2’s Bono, who launched the eco-friendly fashion brand Edun a few years ago. The Telegraph is reporting that the infamous Oasis frontman will launch a fashion line called Pretty Green (named for a The Jam song, not for any environmentally friendly connotations), which he’ll debut in June.
Pretty Green will include “footwear, denim, knitwear, jackets, trench coats, parkas, t-shirts, hats, scarves and accessories.” But why the foray into fashion for Gallagher? “There’s a lack of stuff out there of the things I would wear,” he told the Telegraph. How Pretty Green’s trench coats, scarves, and parkas will differ from what’s already out there remains to be seen.
