Oasis' infamous frontman Liam Gallagher's clothing line has launched to quite a bit of fanfare. According to Dazed Digital, the line, called Pretty Green, "went on sale to registered members this morning and due to the overload of people trying to access the site it crashed, reportedly in excess of 100,000 customers." (On the other hand, the line has been far from popular when it comes to the press.) Dazed & Confused's online counterpart also caught up with the designer, who spewed quite a few headline garnering quotes in a video interview. Liam on Liam's line: "Fucking tasty."

Continuing in that vein: "It’s not shite, it's good ... buy it you fuckers!" As for the other memorable musings:

"I’m not into that skinny look, fucking get rid of that shit, those pointy shoes, that come at you like a snooker cue, got a license for them bastards or what."

"Right, the first Parka I ever got, me auntie worked at a sports centre and there was one left behind. It was a Yves Saint Laurent one, and it was yellow cord and she was sort of, like, call it robbed it if you want, but it was left behind so she baggsied it."

And, more on the line: "Classic parka, classic shoes, no mad gear, just really plain blacks, browns, nothing wild, not Jean-Paul Gaultier, just cool." And, "I'm not doing it to make money, I'm doing it cause I’m into clothes."
