From September 22 to October 19, designer Marc Jacobs will be invading London taxicabs. In promotion for his floral fragrance Daisy, Jacobs will be adorning black cabs in London with the flower, as well as outfitting the cabs’ interiors with faux daisy fields. The idea being that each cab is part of a daisy chain -- kind of like the ones you made during recess in elementary school, except much chicer.

According to the London Taxi Media’s General Manager, the daisy fields and eau du parfum on taxi tip seats is possible thanks to Coty Prestige, the team behind “pioneering lenticular technology.” And for those with a sweet tooth, participating cabs will be passing out Marc Jacobs Daisy lollipops. One can only imagine the stoutly masculine population of London cabbies squirming; I only they were passing out free Marc Jacobs handbags to boot.
