Yesterday, before his eagerly-awaited show, outre designer Jeremy Scott tweeted "MEET CHARLOTTE FREE MY NEW MUSE!!!" Although Scott's Twitter account is perpetually on caps-lock, the multiple explanation points meant something this time: accompanying the message was a photo of 18-year-old LA-native Charlotte Free, a child-like beauty in pink pigtails who made her fashion week debut this season.

According to her IMG model card, Free is only 5'7", which is pretty petite by modeling standards. Kate Moss is around that height, too, and like Moss back in the day, Free is quickly becoming fashion's newest rebel. Making her debut on the runway at Richard Chai, the model also walked for Charlotte Ronson and the aforementioned Scott this season. Street-style photographers, it practically goes without saying, were instantly smitten, snapping away to capture that perfect model-off-duty moment with the newcomer.

Sure, she's totally cute and definitely has what it takes to do the job, but I have to ask: Would we all be as intrigued if her hair weren't pink?
