Following a series of faux cover images having hit the internet, Katie Grand's two final covers for Love's second issue are here. The first is "a David Sims shot of Alex Hartley, a bass player from Birmingham, England, who Katie Grand 'found on the Internet'," says Fashionologie (Hartley is the second musician to grace the cover of Love; he follows in a nude Beth Ditto's footsteps). A second Mert & Markus shot cover featuring Coco Sumner, daughter to Trudie Styler and Sting and a "burgeoning it-girl," will also hit newsstands soon. Both 18-year-olds are among a handful of up-and-coming creatives who the magazine singles out in its latest issue (i.e. fashion's new blood). (Also of note: the fact that the second issue of the rag is more than twice the size of its predecessor; take that Vogue).

Another UK outpost with newly released images: Topshop. The international retailer's latest fall look book has dropped and it has a serious case of nostalgia. Named Marianne for Marianne Faithfull, the assortment of frocks pays homage to the singer and fashion icon. Think: hot pants, fur vests and fringe-mini dresses paired with over-the-knee boots. It's a flashback perfectly timed with a budding trend for fall 2009 fashion, which could best be described as the Woodstock influence. Blame it on Ang Lee, but 1969-appropriate styles are back.
