imageThe Michelle Obama fashion bandwagon is trucking along at full speed. In addition to the First Lady-Elect’s sartorial skill earning her the title “fashion icon” (or, at the very least, “fashion icon-in-the-making”); the mystery that was her inaugural dress is causing about as much speculation as Karolina Kurkova’s non-existent navel. And now, this spring, our soon-to-be First Lady’s style will be canonized in an Avon-endorsed tome.

Page Six reports, “Avon has signed former Mademoiselle editor Mandi Norwood to pen a ‘Michelle Obama Style Guide’.” Considering Barack’s better half is exceedingly reluctant to term herself a fashionista, it’s unlikely that the book will come with the future First Lady’s seal of approval. But, that said, there’s no doubt it’ll sell like hotcakes regardless. Meaning, Vogue is most likely all but foaming at the mouth to solidify a First Lady-Elect cover at this point.
