Meet Twin, the latest fashion magazine to debut at a time when print is dying (though taking its sweet time to actually die). But this isn't your average ego-stroking mag launch. As Style.com points out, the magazine boasts quite the editorial pedigree: "[Features Editor Aimée] Farrell works by day at British Vogue (and by night as a founding member of the Voguettes, the title’s roving DJ squad); editor in chief Becky Smith was the founder and former creative director of the cult mag Lula; and art editor Francesca Gavin does double duty at Dazed & Confused and Elle U.K."

Profiled in the premiere issue are "Miranda July, Garance Doré, and poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy, and fashion spreads by Dazed alumnae Mari Sarai and Carlotta Manaigo." The biannual magazine launches in London this week. For those stuck stateside or without a local reliable foreign mag importer nearby, Twin has launched a namesake blog as well, which features videos as well as quite a bit of art coverage in addition to film reviews and shout-outs to noteworthy fashion brands like Berlin's charming, corseted, leather-skirt-hawking Don't Shoot The Messenger.
