Forgive me for this week's second story involving Kim Kardashian, but this is just too nuts. Yesterday Mugler creative director Nicola Formichetti invited Emily Weiss of Into the Gloss to the label's HQ to watch Team Mugler prep for their Paris Fashion Week show (which is happening in just a few hours!). As the duo gabbed about all things fashion and tech, Formichetti revealed that the new Mugler woman is less avant-garde and more relatable, which is why his latest source of inspiration come from the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. I'm serious.

I mean, he doesn't exactly say that Kim K is officially replacing Lady Gaga as his mainstay muse or anything, but he does give the girl significant props: "I saw a picture of her wearing my dress, and I wouldn’t have necessarily seen her being that kind of girl—it’s usually the eccentric girls wearing these clothes—but she looked fucking amazing," he explains to Weiss. "I emailed her straight away, and sent her a bag yesterday." The bag he is referring to is the first-ever Mugler bag, which will be unveiled at tonight's show (9pm Paris, 3pm EST) and hits stores in December.

Additional recipients of said exciting bags (which may or may not feature Formichetti's signature Nico Panda artwork as demonstrated above) include Rihanna, Gwen Stefani and Beyoncé. But back to Kim! They also discussed the reality fixture's new absurdly cute teacup Persian kitten named Mercy, which her boyfriend Kanye West bought her, naturally. Hell = frozen over.
