If there’s one thing everyone can agree on with regard to Peaches Geldof, it’s that the girl is prolific. Her style, and, more specifically, her style musings for Nylon magazine however, have garnered responses that run the gamut from love to hatred. The rock scion and former TV host has branched out into fashion by way of the aforementioned contributor’s post, as well as a capsule collection for high street retailer PPQ. Not to mention, Geldof bared (nearly) all, for London-based lingerie brand Agent Provocateur’s latest Caravaggio-meets-camp ad campaign, and somehow found the time to likewise launch a magazine, called Disappear Here.
Now, Geldof is going where supermodel and former AP face Kate Moss has gone before with another endeavor—a full-fledged high street fashion line. PPQ has enlisted a newly cropped-coiffed Geldof to design an entire “range to rival that of Kate Moss at Topshop,” says This Is London. The Brit brand is making a point of announcing that the line won’t be “as cheap as Topshop,” and will debut in March 2009. Expect more party-appropriate styles (like Geldof’s past PPQ line, which included LBDs and high-waisted trousers) for spring. As to how the aspiring neo-renaissance woman will keep her various projects straight, your guess is as good as mine.
