This past weekend was intense. It's as if the universe was holding on to all its best fashion news in order to spew it out in hyper-format in three days, resulting in digital pandomonium by way of the blogosphere and Twitterverse. Okay, it wasn't that major, but any weekend that involves The Spice Girls, Miley Cyrus and a whole lot of supermodels is worth remembering. To ensure that you're well-equipped to contribute to (unavoidable) office small talk today, here's a roundup of all the super to semi stylish things that happened in the last 72 hours.

1. The Spice Girls reunited for the Olympics closing ceremony.

This was a pretty big moment. Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice reunited with her girls Ginger, Baby, Sporty and Scary to perform at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony—and it went off without a hitch. More, please!

2. Supermodels reunited for the Olympics closing ceremony.

One of the sweetest moments of the very long, very epic Olympics closing ceremony also featured a performance by the world's best supermodels wearing gowns by some of the world's top British designers. Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell rocked Alexander McQueen, Lily Donaldson wore Vivienne Westwood, Lily Cole wore Erdem, Stella Tennant wore Christophere Kane, Karen Elson wore Burberry, Georgia May Jagger wore Victoria Beckham and Jourdan Dunn wore Jonathan Sanders with a bold Stephen Jones headpiece.

3. Miley Cyrus replaced her signature bun with a buzz cut.
miley
Miley Cyrus chopped off all her hair to sport an edgy pixie 'do because young people can and should experiment with their hair—and her diehard fans are on the verge of tears. Whatever, it looks fine to me. Let her have her Robyn moment, guys. In case you're wondering, yes, her now-iconic bun has its own Twitter and Tumblr.

4. Lana Del Rey went to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

This isn't as buzzworthy as the others, but it's important to note that Lana Del Rey wore an AC/DC T-shirt and a flannel tied around her waist to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert at the Hollywood Bowl. What's this grunge business? Has she officially phased-out her Sixties-inspired persona?

5. Lady Gaga wore flats in Bulgaria.

Like, actual flats—not kitten heels. And she was carrying a dog for some reason. Her fashion sense is getting pretty wild in Bulgaria, because she also blatantly label-clashed in Hermes and Louis Vuitton one day, complete with a scarf over her face.

Last but not least, although this isn't specifically fashion news, it's important to note that JENNIFER ANISTON IS FINALLY ENGAGED!
