When we visited Rachel Zoe's first-ever fashion week presentation back in September, we knew that the celebrity stylist turned Bravo TV star was on her way achieving to celebrity designer-status. But as we learned from Kanye West's puzzling Paris Fashion Week debut, it's tough for someone famous to successfully launch a legit label. But Zoe followed Victoria Beckham's successful gameplan by debuting her work to select fashion critics.
After glimmering reviews of Zoe's Fall 2011, Spring 2012, and Resort 2012 collections, Style.com has just revealed the designer's pre-fall effort to the world, and it's really, really good. Blending Zoe's love of the '60s and '70s with today's menswear-inspired movement, the range is filled with flowing silouettes juxtoposed by strictly tailored separates. We're particularly fond of this printed dress for it's offbeat hemline, and the outerwear is, if we may use a Zoe throwback phrase, "bananas." See for yourself here.
