Rihanna is really trying to make this fashion design thing happen. After a quick stint designing lingerie for Armani, the pop star is partnering up with another notable label to roll out a full-blown collection. And given that she's having a bit of a UK moment (remember her unexpected BOY London endorsement tour?) it's no surprise that she's tapped a nearly 60-year-old London retailer for the gig.
Rihanna announced her partnership with high street brand River Island on her website: "I've been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me [...] I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I'm looking forward to working with them and creating something really special."
