Rodarte may be one of the hardest working names in the fashion business. The brand, which is the brainchild of LA-based Laura and Kate Mulleavy, just wrapped up the debut of their first-ever capsule collection for Target. They're providing the clothing for an Olympic photo shoot by none other than Ryan McGinley. Now, the designers are launching yet another collaboration, with Opening Ceremony and longtime friend and collaborator, photographer Autumn de Wilde.
"The sisters Rodarte have a new collection off tees and sweats created in collaboration with artists David Benjamin Sherry and Autumn de Wilde, who has been documenting Rodarte collections since Kate and Laura Mulleavy's first in 2006," says Coutorture. Currently being stocked at Opening Ceremony's stores only, the collection includes sweatshirts and tees boasting slogans like "J'aime Rodarte" and images from Sherry and de Wilde, which (fortunately) fall much closer in line with Rodarte's Target collection when it comes to price point, than the brand's signature line.
