Like leggings, 80s-trou-of-choice skinny jeans are showing no signs of exiting fashion’s center stage anytime soon. In fact, according to Style.com, “both Acne and Ksubi ... will be introducing their ‘skinniest jeans ever’ for fall.” And let it be said that the two aforementioned brands from Stockholm and Sydney, respectively, aren’t exactly known for roomy fits.

In fact, the two brands, along with Cheap Monday, helped spearhead the return to skin-tight denim just a few seasons ago. While the look isn’t for everyone, as long as the accordingly 80s-appropriate big shoulder (à la Balmain) continues to be the must-have silhouette for 2009, a slim leg is all the more necessary for balancing a look from the waist down. That, or you can forgo pants altogether.
