Over the past few seasons Timo Weiland has become synonymous with the eye-catching and at times outlandish neck wear he designs. Weiland's accessories have ranged from skinny leather cravats and well-fed bowties in the same material to ornamented bibs that only a mature, fashion savvy-set could love. Now the designer is gearing up to stake his claim over a new sartorial realm: clothing.
"The clothes have an Edwardian bent, not unlike some of Robert Geller's recent collections: boxy suits, pleated pants, drop-stitch sweaters, and extra-long Italian cotton button-downs (with ties, of course, to match)," says Men's Style.com. Meaning, the updated take on menswear is sure to please Weiland's longstanding neckwear fans eager for classic pieces with a twist. And stay tuned: Weiland is slated to debut his entire new namesake line at Fashion Week this fall.
