Antony Hegarty, the falsetto-driven singer-songwriter responsible for breathy, fragile tracks like “Hope There’s Someone” and “I Fell In Love With A Dead Boy,” has designed a one-off dress for online boutique YOOX.com. The white, kimono-like take on abstract art (pictured left) goes on sale today, and all proceeds are being given the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, an organization for people who face harassment related to gender-identity issues. Check back on Monday for our exclusive interview with Hegarty! Until then, click the jump to see what he’s doing for Valentine’s Day. —Nick Haramis
BLACKBOOK: How do you plan to spend this Valentine’s Day?
ANTONY HEGARTY: Well, someone asked me to be their valentine, but I’m not quite sure what that’s going to entail yet, so that’s a bit of a mystery to me.
BB: I hope it turns out well.
AH: Hopefully, I won’t end up in a ditch somewhere, drunk or whatever.
BB: Hopefully it ends in flowers and hearts.
AH: And Chocolate.
