Lindsay Needs A Hit

Lindsay Lohan has a thing for killers. In the upcoming Chapter 27, she stars as a woman who befriends Mark David Chapman (played by a doughy Jared Leto), the man who killed John Lennon. But befriending a disturbed loner isn’t enough. Lindsay needs a guru, and today comes word that she’s signed on to star in Manson Girls. Lindsay will play Nancy Pitman, a wealthy Malibu girl who was introduced to Charles Manson at age 16. The rest is bloody history.
Pitman was at home with Manson when he sent members of his “Family” to the home of Terry Melcher, where the now infamous slaying of actress Shannon Tate and four others took place. Pitman later joined an Aryan brotherhood and spent 18 months in the pen. Lohan’s dark side will temporarily be brightened when Ye Old Times, a comedy she’s shooting with Jack Black and David Arquette, is released in 2009. These are crucial films for Lindsay, not because of her recent drug problems, but because her last three or four movies were very bad.
