Next Gen Kicks Off

Last night, at the Diesel store in SoHo, film buffs (and one walking moose knuckle in a ripped tank top with a front scrunch, who started stealing bottles of Johnnie Walker on his way out—it was unpleasant) gathered to celebrate the launch of this year’s Gen Art Film Festival. We got there late, just before the bars all closed, so it was a short visit. Guests included Alicia Witt (one of this year’s jurors, and star of seminal ‘90s horror film Urban Legend), festival co-founders Ian and Stefan Gerard, and actor Val Emmich (!!) from “Cashmere Mafia” and “30 Rock.” Click here to find out more about this week’s film schedule.
