BlackBook Lowdown
Divey bar complete with pool hall smack in the middle. Shoot some stick if you can fit between the table and the wall. Staff are ridiculously blasé. Probably 'cause they served the Strokes once in 2001. A lot of the bands end up here after Irving—excuse us, Fillmore—gigs, so depending on who's in town there can be some serious drinking going on. Scary bathrooms, ladies, pee at your own risk.
