Editorial Review

We remain suckers for the speakeasy entry, this one down a flight of unmarked stairs. Ring the buzzer and enter narrow, dim hutch decked in white tile. Grungy beer-basement space is dorm-sized, NYU-friendly. Beer list trots through English milk stouts, German black beers, and Belgian quadrupels. Beer haters can sate themselves on wine and pretzel-bread sammies.
