1369 Coffee House

Editorial Review

Long time Cambridge institution has received about every local award a coffee shop can aspire to. It’s not entirely the brew, or the large selection of tea and better than average café snacks that keep people coming back though. A beloved neighborhood haunt (aka not-Starbucks), it’s ground zero for the proverbial latte-sipping, northeast elite as students from nearby Harvard and assorted intelligentsia set up shop with their laptops and well worn paperbacks. Competition for limited seating can be heated, but even jacked up on java, they’re generally a peaceful crowd. Damned hippies.
