25 Degrees

Editorial Review

A collision of contradictions: first, the seeming impossibility that the foodie holy land of Chicago would ever import a restaurant from Hollywood; second, that gourmet burgers and French bordello interiors would seem a resonable pairing of victual and visual (unless you consider that both have to do with pleasures of the flesh). And so LA's 25 Degrees arrives in the Windy City sporting a sophisticated wine bar with 15 selections by the glass, red velvet wall coverings, decadent black crystal chandeliers, and bourbon-spiked caramel milkshakes. If you've been looking to tick a few Deadly Sins off the list, this is the place to do it.
