Industrial/functional space inside + one of the city's best patios. Tables butt right up against the Bassin de la Villette (two steps from the MK2 movie theaters), and a roof-top terrace gets great afternoon sun. Cold beer at the waterfront with great people watching. Food available, but it's generally nasty. Come for drinks, sun, and the sometimes-working wifi.
