Editorial Review

Sip an expertly blended and original cocktail while mulling over the history it evokes in this cozy candlelit stone and brick bar. Named for the first bar owned by a black man (in Five Points), also evokes speakeasy era of the Cotton Club (no apparent signage outside, get it?). Select, chic crowd and secretive vibe more than make up for the south-of-Harlem pricing.
