Shanghai’s first boutique hotel sits adjacent to the downtown Xintiandi shopping and dining district. Geographically, the location is excellent, but some of the rooms do suffer from their proximity to late-night party venues. Each suite-style room features a fully-equipped kitchenette, large lounge area with TV and DVD a four-poster bed separated by curtains and elevated on a small plinth. There’s no in-house restaurant, but with Xintiandi downstairs that really isn’t a problem.
