Environmentally sound tropical Eden. You won't catch Al Gore here, but you might run into that kook you married at Burning Man. Bermuda's only eco-resort has a honeycomb of cabanas on stilts, protruding from the sand and sea. While the sturdy, but soft-sided walls don't float everyone's tugboats, the whole scene thrilled our friend who used to follow Phish, who we arranged to leave behind with his devil sticks. Seabound rooms have glassfloors for those who want to just follow fish. It is even cooler than being served fresh milk from the neighboring farm in the morning, and catching your own seafood with an instructor and having the resort's chef make an impromptu masterpiece of it in the kitchen. The views and sunsets will last in your mind forever, as will the sense of simple pleasure and romantic perfection.
