Very much a meritocracy, 93 Feet East puts on nights dedicated to all types of music – the only criteria, it seems, is that they have to be good. Just an artfully angled trilby hat’s throw from the hipster magnet that is the Old Truman Brewery, the club attracts its fair share of affected wannabes, but the vibe is friendly and utilitarian.
