Editorial Review

Vegans beware. It means “slaughterhouse” in French and the building actually was one back in the day. Wonder chefs Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison, the team behind Bacchanalia and other gems, try their butcher knives at whole animal cuisine. Lamb-liver fritters, tripe, and out-of-the-kitchen pork rinds go a little foodie radical. But you can still get stuff like oysters, pommes frites, and a reasonably priced burger in the airy dining room.
