In Crown Heights, the neighborhood formerly known as Crow Hill, on the about-to-be-hip stretch of Franklin Avenue, sits streetwear company About Time. Krow Hill is the moniker for the shop's house brand of graphic T's, hoodies, and polos by Trinidad-born designer and store founder Kevin Phillip. Among the array of hip Nike kicks find a smattering of other designers, like Kallusive, screen prints from Thriving Ink, and T's from Chilly-O. Great balanced mix of ubiquitous and exclusive. Can't afford Wiliamsburg anymore? You'll be happy to know Crown Heights is next in line for cheapest hipster haven.
