Imagine partying inside a futuristic airport. No cover here. No creepy lurkers or too-drunk couples hanging out in the corner because curved walls mean there are no corners. The more laid back, funky crowd seems to prefer the pop and 80s mixes in the smaller front room; serious partiers go for the electro-techno mixes the main room. Stiff drinks, exceptional sound system, good crowd. Mokai doesn’t own this not-so-south South Beach neighborhood anymore.
