A recent addition to the burgeoning far-fifteenth scene, Afaria has been pimped as “the new Spring.” The side bar serves tapas to an after-work crowd, while foodies cross town for the dining room. SW regional is ambitiously amped with results ranging from ‘meh’ to ‘trop bon’. Some dishes are harmless but nonetheless confusing: raw tuna that disappears under a spicy gazpacho blanket. Over-hyped but still exciting. Closed all day Sunday and for Monday lunch.
