"Irish" theme takes off the edge and adds alcoholic revelry to an otherwise distinguished gastro pub theme. Shephard's Pie gets royal treatment, gravy-laden dishes rescue rainy days and Mondays. Serious beer-lovers slosh through happy hour, stiff upper-lips bent into cheery grins. Glowing bottles of golden Scotch behind glass, and a wine list that would make James Joyce sing.
