Ai Fiori

Editorial Review

Michael White brings us more elegant modern Italian. Rough analogue to the downtown Setai’s SHO Shaun Hergatt, with fine dining on the second floor and wine racks playing a big role in the architecture. White marble bar, corporate-friendly seating. Strong in pastas, of course, like sage butter gnocchi and porcini ravioli. Not coy about the luxury items, trotting out oysters and caviar, lobster veloute and black truffle, foie gras and hazelnuts. Eben Freeman covering the bar program, injecting a little downtown glam into the mix.
