For-real high end and avant-garde couture in this tucked-away oasis on Newbury. When you've got to ring a door bell to be let in, and you've got rich fucks outside in the car having clothes brought out to them to look at, you know it's hardcore. Probably great if you've got ten billion dollars and want to buy right off the runway. Long running Boston classic usually has eye for styles before they trickle out into the real world. Friendly and knowledgeable staff tells it like it is. Less cash on hand? The basement offers (relative) bargains.
