Bob Dylan presides over the festivities at this downtown bar from the same people behind Astronete, who named it after the folk singer's almost-eponymous song. Bulbed letters of bar's sign serve as a guiding beacon to the safe haven of three floors, each with its own faux walnut-topped and padded-edge bar. Restored building hosts bearded, Beatle-boot-wearing, checkered-shirt-adorned, twenty-something indie rock clientele for blatantly cheap happy hour. Bar undergoes metamorphosis to club at around 10:00. Walls enrobed in optical art, super-low ceilings and wall lamps giving off little light provide the Hitchcock train-thriller setting, albeit set to soundtrack of calypso, little-known jazz and blues records, and starring inked staff.
