The roster of DJs and live jazz aren’t the only ones working alchemy here. This must-see in JP brings the notoriously bohemian locals (and resilient Boston and Cambridge denizens hearty enough to make the seemingly interminable trek) out for stylized cocktail sipping as well. Drinks like the Mata Hari (Courvoisier, chai-infused sweet vermouth, pomegranate) and the Peach Cobbler (Stoli peach, honey, vanilla soy milk, cinnamon) are worth the trip. Those chai and soy ingredients are all in keeping with the hood’s aesthetic. Shockingly, does the exposed brick, deep red walls, low lights and hard wood floors thing.
