Alice and Friends Vegetarian Café

Editorial Review

This small veggie/vegan restaurant specializes in making convincing soy-based versions of the sorts of Asian dishes that you'd probably eat more often if they didn't lead to a serious case of gut rut. Think vegetarian ton-katsu (fried pork) and smoked veggie duck. The service is casual at best so bring a friend or a book, or read the pamphlets of the owner's cult guru, "Supreme Master Ching Hai."
