Alon’s Bakery

Like its original Vi-Hi location, this fab bakery is a big sweet something. The addition of a chocolate-making room, visible through windows, makes it Wonka worthy. A coffee, wine and beer bar tempts, too, as do artisan cheeses and cooked to-go entrees. Splurge on a whole poached salmon or simply grab a sandwich or salad. Get a sugary quick fix with a Chocolate Louise, a  union of chocolate cream and chocolate cake.
