This place has seen it all. That heavy feeling in the air? That's history, baby. Great in the 1960s when it was just down the street from Hugh Hefner's, its star has faded only slightly since. A favorite of visiting celebrities since it opened in 1926, guests have included Frank Sinatra, Vince Vaughn and Richard Gere, among others who populate the photos adorning the hotel's famous Pump Room restaurant. It's closer to the Division Street rabble than downtown.
