Hassan Hajjaj’s decor culture jams Warhol pop with koufi-kitsch consumer Morrocannia (the name means “I have nothing” in Arabic). Decked with art, psychedelic vintage packaging, old tagines, paint-can stools, and shishas to let, it offers a souk-like spin on shabby chic. Bathed in sunset tones, from the backlit breeze-block bar to the funky floral lamps. Industry fave during Fashion Week, holds steady year-round and stays cool without overreaching. The back patio is great in summer, but when it closes around midnight the modest main room feels the squeeze.
