Angélina

Editorial Review

Everyone from Marcel Proust to Audrey Hepburn has dropped by this now-legendary meeting place since its opening in 1903. Celebrated Belle-Epoque architect Edouard-Jean Niermans is responsible for the opulent design, appropriately artful since it rests across the street from the Louvre. The hot chocolate is most likely the best in France (if not Europe) and the Mont Blanc cake is mythical. Crystal-clinking atmosphere is old school Paris defined. It's a tea house, yes, but it's also a time machine.
