Located on an unassuming corner in East Lakeview, this 20-year-old, family owned restaurant has long been a neighborhood favorite. New chef Jeff Ramos has brought some recent excitement to the menu with dishes like Black Truffle Gnocchi with Shrimp and Braised Short Ribs (with a polenta you’d punch your grandmother to get more of). Add in a carefully selected wine list, some fabulous bread pudding , a little old world charm – wine bottles from their BYOB days line the walls while chandeliers drip from the ceiling – and you’ve got the perfect cozy spot for dinner. Sunday’s all-you-can-drink-mimosa brunch is a big hit with the Boys Town crowd.
