Anise in Ibiza is exceptionally good and not the same as Bulgarian Mastika, Absinthe, Pastis, Anisette or the Greek Ouzo. Here it is made from the Aniseed plant which grows wild all over the island but the true distilling and ingredients remain secret and are said to have restorative and medicinal properties. A great gift for taking back home and you can say it came straight from the Fabrica.
