This is the original Ann Sather (there are others in Lakeview, Boystown and Andersonville). Started by an actual Ann Sather in 1945, it's now owned by Chicago alderman Tom Tunney. The Swedish breakfast menus haven't changed, and the all-day dinner menu includes items like salmon with beet vinaigrette and duck with lingonberry glaze. They recently moved two storefronts down, but pretty much everything, right down to the gargantuan cinnamon rolls, is the same.
